Teens and tweens are invited to the library to learn about and make their own zines!

What are zines, you ask? To start, they are small, DIY publications, like little magazines. But they have a fascinating history, starting with Sci-fi fanzines in the 1930s. Then in the 70s, zines were produced with Punk and counterculture content including music, poetry, art, and much more. And today, zines are a great way to produce your own publication about anything you want. They can include text, images, both or neither!

Join Laura to learn more and experiment with making your own zine. All materials are supplied and participants will be able to make copies of their designs to trade with others and keep.
