SUMMARY:Tween and Teen Intro To Graphic Design
DESCRIPTION:Learn some useful skills in graphic design including font choices\, layout\, color theory\, and more using a free web-based program called Canva. Each participant will design their own postcard and print a batch at the library to send in the mail. Lead by Laura Rowley\, staff at the library and a book designer and publisher. \n \nThis postcard is a poem by Sophie Morelli\, designed and printed by Laura. \nThis program is part of the library’s Summer theme “Adventure Begins at Your Library” where we explore sciences\, arts\, nature\, and more. \nDon’t forget to keep track of your summer reading to win prizes! Pick up a reading log at the library.\n\nSummer learning programs are made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program\, a regrant program of the NYS Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature and administered by the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.\n\nReading prizes are made possible with funding from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation
